Automated Coil Winder
An Ender 3 Pro gets a second life as a programmable Tesla coil secondary winder.

Repurposed printer hardware into an automated winder.
Mechanical design and controller integration
The build
An automated Tesla coil secondary winder built using repurposed parts from an Ender 3 Pro. An Arduino Nano handles control, while a liquid crystal display provides menu selection and settings configuration.
System design
The project brings a mechanical winding assembly and an embedded interface into one machine. Reusing printer hardware made it possible to build around an existing collection of motion components.
